Walnut Shell
Hard and dense; preferred as industrial abrasive and filtration media.
Hazelnut shell serves two jobs: a high-calorie solid fuel that is an alternative to coal, and — because it contains no sand (silica) — a safe blasting material. Being abundant in Türkiye, it is supplied steadily year-round.
Hazelnut shell is a hard by-product left after the kernel is separated at facilities in the Black Sea region. Because Türkiye supplies a large share of world hazelnut production, the source is abundant; supply can be planned and uninterrupted, independent of season. Two strong uses stand out: a clean-burning solid biofuel that is an alternative to coal in boilers and power plants, and a natural blasting abrasive that cleans metal without scratching it across a wide range from shipyards to heavy industry. In whole, cracked or ground form; calibre and moisture vary by intended use, and batches are available accordingly.
Used as an alternative to coal in boilers, stoves and power plants; at low moisture it gives strong, stable heat.
Containing no silica, it carries no silicosis risk; it cleans shipyard, hull and soft-metal surfaces without deforming them.
With its high carbon content, it is a valuable raw-material source in activated-carbon manufacturing.
Its ground form is used on farms as animal bedding and filler material; it is not a ration (feed) component.
Its cracked form is also used as a natural mulch in garden landscaping.
Wants an uninterrupted, low-moisture, high-calorie fuel supply year-round; looks for large-volume, regular truckload shipments.
Requires a silica-free abrasive that does not erode the metal; calibre consistency comes first.
Looks for a high-carbon, uniformly calibrated raw material; decides via sample analysis.
Wants a low-moisture, clean batch by the container; looks for clarity on FOB/CIF delivery terms.
For fuel, what matters is calorific value and moisture; if you'd like exact figures, typical reference ranges are shared on request; an exact per-batch guarantee is not offered. For blasting, grain size matters; coarse or finely ground batches are available — tell us what you need and we'll help you select the right one. On serious-volume or export orders, a sample evaluation can come up.
Because it contains no silica it carries no silicosis risk and cleans soft metals without deforming them; in many industrial blasting jobs it is a safe, natural abrasive.
On request, we share typical reference ranges; an exact per-batch guarantee is not offered. Because the values change with the source and drying, we clarify them together with a sample.
For serious, high-volume export and domestic requests, a sample is provided; the final shipment is sourced as close as possible to the approved sample's properties.
Domestic deliveries are planned by the truck and export deliveries by the container; the exact quantity is settled according to the request and stock.
Agreed on standard Incoterms such as FOB/CIF; payment terms are settled before the order.
There may be natural variation depending on the source and harvest season; this does not affect quality or performance, and a comparison via sample is made on request.
