Walnut Shell
Hard and dense; preferred as industrial abrasive and filtration media.
Walnut shell granule is a medium-hard natural blasting abrasive available in different calibres. It is used across a wide range from soft metal to mold cleaning, from automotive restoration to wood surface prep; calibre and hardness vary by batch and are confirmed via sample.
Ground from walnut shell and available in different calibres, this granule is one of the most preferred natural abrasives in blasting thanks to its hard, dense structure. Containing no silica, it is safer than sand blasting and cleans without over-eroding the surface. Hardness and calibre options are offered to suit different surfaces, from soft metal to wood. Because it can be reused through reclaim systems, it lowers cost. Supplied regularly by the truck to the domestic market and by the container for export.
Cleans aluminum, brass and chrome-plated surfaces without deforming them; preferred in automotive and machine-part maintenance.
Removes oil, soot and resin residue from injection and casting molds without scratching the surface.
Strips rust and dirt from engine blocks, rims, bodywork and boat surfaces without stripping the paint.
Roughens and cleans wood and composite materials before paint/varnish.
Strips thick paint and coating layers without harming the underlying surface.
Seeking a medium-hard, stockable, multi-purpose abrasive it can use on different surface types.
Needs a gentle yet effective granule to clean oil/resin without scratching the mold surface.
A safe blasting material that strips rust and dirt without damaging the paint.
A supply source of consistent quality that can be planned by the container.
The right calibre and hardness are set by the target surface material and the blasting equipment’s pressure: a fine calibre for delicate, soft-metal surfaces, a coarser calibre for thick rust/coating removal. Stating the surface type to be treated, the current blasting pressure and the desired surface result when requesting a sample ensures the right batch is matched and shipped. The exact mesh range and hardness value are shared on request as a typical reference range; an exact per-batch guarantee is not offered.
Different hardness grades are available by intended use; stating your target application (surface material, blasting pressure) speeds up the sample and reference-figure process.
On blasting lines with reclaim systems it can be reused many times; as the dust fraction rises, screening and refreshing is recommended.
No; being of natural shell origin, it contains no silica and carries no crystalline-silica silicosis risk. As with any blasting job, proper protective equipment for dust is required.
Used at the right hardness grade and pressure, it strips the rust and dirt beneath without damaging the paint layer; a test area before application is recommended.
Domestically it is planned by the truck and for export by the container; we prepare a quote to suit your need.
